IPHONE 3g on AT&T Service out of box

OK its monday August 22nd and i am at the ATT&T Store to pick up my new 16GB Black Iphone. When I arrive i find out that its the end of the shift for most of the staff and while they fetch my iphone from the back and let me hold on ot it, it will be another 35 minutes before they will have someone who can set up my new account. So I walk around the store holding my iphone like a kid in a candy store who wants to rip open that candy bar and eat the whole thing in one gigantic bite, but i pull my self back and instead walk around the store like I own it becuase i have an iphone. While i was waiting several people came in and wanted to order an iphone too the staff was telling them 7-10 days then i would chime in and say I got mine today and i ordered it only 3 days ago on Friday. Even the staff was shocked at how fast i got my iphone. So the time comes and the computer is free that then need to use to set me up with my 2 year prison term um contract of service for my new baby boy. After a few minutes and some information from me my iphone is active and working and now its go home and play. But wait i have an iphone i load up the gps and directions set it to hybrid and now i have a nice map to drive home with. I have only had the iphone for 10seconds and i already can not find my way home with out it….

So on monday August 22nd 2008 in the morning before i headed in to work i pulled up the AT&T order status page and found out my iphone had shiped on Saturday and that it was in Syracuse, NY and out for deliver. That means after work and after the staff meeting i will be rushing over to the AT&T Store to pick up my Shinny New Iphone.

So on Friday August 15, 2008 I decided i would take the plunge and get an iphone something i had resited for over a year when the first one was released. How ever the iphone 3g had some thing the 1st gen iphone did not have an attrictive price point and a much improved gps. Yes i know the iphone still needs alot of work a better camera and longer battery life for starters, but this is not a what the iphone could-of or should-of had. So I stoped in to my local AT&T Store or um Cingular no its AT&T again To inquire about getting an Iphone. After a short wait while the staff was attending to other customers, one came over to assist me in answering my questions, which i knew the answer to but was just passing some time as i was debating if i should go though with it and buy my iphone. I asked how long it would take to be orderd and got the it will take 10-21 days. Great I though this will be forever to wait. So he then says wait i just got an e-mail today about them, the new time frame was 7-10 days. Still a long time but i guess i could survice the wait so i pulled out my Disney Card and Charged it. Now The wait has begun for my 16GB Black Iphone 3G….
